Production process
1. Log selection: The journey to crafting premium plywood begins with the meticulous selection of high-quality logs. Common choices include poplar, birch, pine, and eucalyptus. Each type brings unique characteristics; poplar is known for its light and soft texture with excellent processing capabilities, making it ideal for everyday plywood. Birch, on the other hand, boasts a hard surface and attractive grain, perfect for luxury applications. Ensuring the wood's texture, grain, hardness, and moisture content align with production standards is essential for creating superior plywood.
2. Veneer preparation: Once logs are chosen, they're cut to length and transformed into veneers through a precise rotary cutting process. Perfect control over parameters like speed and tool angle is crucial for achieving uniform veneer thickness and a smooth finish. For plywoods demanding unique specifications, planing is also utilized to slice wood into ultra-thin chips.
3. Veneer drying: Freshly cut veneers are moisture-rich and require effective drying. Options include natural and artificial methods. While natural drying is cost-effective, it's weather-dependent and lengthy. Artificial methods, including steam and hot air drying, rapidly reduce moisture levels to a suitable 8%-12%, significantly boosting production efficiency.
4. Gluing and assembly: Dried veneers undergo gluing, where eco-friendly adhesives are applied evenly. Adhesive quality is pivotal for strong bonds and eco-performance. Veneer layers are then assembled, ensuring adjacent fibers are perpendicular, fortifying the board's structural integrity.
5. Hot pressing Bonding: Assembled slabs enter hot pressing, where they'll be bonded under controlled temperature (100ºC - 150ºC) and pressure (3-10MPa). Hot pressing duration, influenced by sheet thickness and adhesive properties, may range from minutes to tens of minutes. This process solidifies the adhesive, ensuring a durable, cohesive plywood structure.
6. Post-processing: Post-hot pressing, plywood undergoes edge trimming and sanding. Edge trimming achieves precise dimensions, while sanding smooths and flattens the surface, readying it for decorative finishes like veneering and painting.

Eucalyptus Plywood Detailed Uses
Furniture Manufacturing: Renowned for its high strength, eucalyptus plywood is ideal for furniture components that bear heavy loads, such as dining table legs and chair frames, assuring furniture stability. It crafts cabinets for wardrobes and bookshelves, offering ample storage. Post-veneer and paint treatments reveal diverse decorative effects, aligning with varied furniture styles.
Interior Decoration: In wall decoration, eucalyptus plywood shines as a decorative panel, infusing spaces with its natural, modern texture. Its strength and stability make it perfect for partition walls, effectively defining spaces and accommodating bespoke design shapes. In commercial spaces, it crafts display racks and shelves, brilliantly fulfilling product display needs.
Industrial Product Packaging: Eucalyptus plywood excels in packaging, especially for products needing moisture and insect-proofing, like electronic goods and precision instruments. Post-treatment, it possesses remarkable moisture resistance, safeguarding contents from humidity, while its robust structure fends off insect damage.
