Production process
1. Log selection: The journey to exceptional plywood begins with the selection of high-quality logs. We utilize a variety of woods such as poplar, birch, pine, and eucalyptus. It's crucial to meticulously assess each wood type for texture, grain, hardness, and moisture content, ensuring they meet our exacting standards. Poplar offers a light, soft texture ideal for standard plywood, while birch provides a captivating grain and robustness, perfect for premium plywood.
2. Veneer preparation: Expertly chosen logs are precision-cut to length and transformed into veneers using a rotary cutter. Meticulous control of rotary cutting speed and tool angle guarantees a consistent veneer thickness and a flawless surface. For specialized plywood, we employ the planing method to achieve thin, precise wood chips.
3. Veneer drying: The freshly cut veneer, with its inherent high moisture, undergoes a drying process. Two methods are employed: natural and artificial drying. While natural drying is cost-effective, it's weather-dependent and slow. Artificial methods, such as steam and hot air drying, rapidly adjust moisture levels to the optimal 8%-12%, significantly boosting production efficiency.
4. Gluing and assembly: Dried veneers proceed to gluing, where eco-friendly adhesives are meticulously applied. Adhesive quality is pivotal for plywood's bond strength and eco-friendliness. Post-glue, veneers are layered with fibers aligned perpendicularly, fortifying the board's structural stability.
5. Hot pressing Bonding: Once layered, the slabs enter a hot press, subjected to precise temperature (100ºC - 150ºC) and pressure (3-10MPa) conditions. Duration varies with sheet thickness and adhesive type, lasting from minutes to tens of minutes. This process solidifies the adhesive, creating a durable, unified veneer assembly.
6. Post-processing: Post hot-pressing, plywood undergoes meticulous finishing, including edge trimming and sanding. Edge cutting ensures exact dimensions, while sanding achieves a smooth, even surface, ready for decorative applications like veneering and painting.
Pine Plywood Detailed Uses
Construction Formwork: Pine plywood is the quintessential choice for construction formwork. Despite its softness, pine's elasticity allows it to withstand substantial concrete pressure without deformation, ensuring superior concrete shaping. Its reusability significantly cuts construction costs, making it a staple for high-rise walls and flooring formwork.
Furniture Manufacturing: Pine plywood is a cornerstone for furniture frames, providing robust support for beds and sofas. Its inherent aroma and charming texture contribute to furniture's unique aesthetics. Versatile, it crafts rustic tables, chairs, and bookshelves, fulfilling the desire for a natural home ambiance.
Packaging Industry: In packaging, pine plywood is indispensable for constructing shipping boxes for heavy machinery and large appliances. Its formidable strength safeguards valuables during transit. Additionally, it's essential for pallets transporting hefty goods, ubiquitous in logistics and warehousing.
