Production process
1. Log selection: The cornerstone of crafting exquisite plywood lies in the meticulous selection of high-quality logs. Our preferred timber includes poplar, birch, pine, eucalyptus, chosen with a keen eye for texture, grain, hardness, and moisture specifications to guarantee optimal production standards. Poplar, with its light, soft texture and excellent processability, is ideal for standard plywood, whereas the hard, beautifully grained birch is reserved for premium plywood creations.
2. Veneer preparation: Once the logs are handpicked, they're meticulously cut to size and sliced into veneers with a rotary cutter. Precision is key during rotary cutting; parameters like speed and tool angle must be finely tuned to ensure the veneer is uniformly thick and impeccably smooth. For specialty plywood, we employ a planing method to produce fine wood chips.
3. Veneer drying: Newly rotary-cut veneers, rich in moisture, require drying. We offer two methods: the cost-effective natural drying or the swift artificial drying. Natural drying is economical but weather-dependent, with lengthy cycles, whereas artificial drying, utilizing steam or hot air, precisely adjusts moisture to an optimal 8%-12%, boosting production efficiency.
4. Gluing and assembly: Post-drying, veneers advance to the gluing process where we apply eco-friendly adhesives to ensure superior bond strength and environmental safety. Adhering to a strict assembly rule-perpendicular fiber directions in adjacent layers-we guarantee the board's structural integrity.
5. Hot pressing Bonding: Assembled slabs undergo hot pressing in a special press at controlled temperatures (100ºC - 150ºC) and pressures (3-10MPa). The duration, dictated by sheet thickness and adhesive properties, varies but is critical. This process solidifies the adhesive, ensuring a robust bond between veneer layers.
6. Post-processing: Following hot-pressing, our plywood is fine-tuned with post-processing steps like edge trimming and sanding. Edge cutting eradicates any roughness to achieve precise dimensions, while sanding enhances surface smoothness, readying the board for beautiful decorative finishes like veneering or painting.
Pine Plywood Detailed Uses
Construction Formwork: Ideal for construction formwork, pine's elasticity adeptly withstands immense pressure during concrete pours, resisting deformation to ensure flawless concrete casting. Its reusability makes it a cost-effective choice, perfect for walls, floors, and high-rise building components.
Furniture Manufacturing: Pine plywood shines in crafting furniture frames, from bed to sofa structures, offering robust support and bestowing furniture with its natural texture and aroma. It's an excellent choice for crafting simple yet stylish tables, chairs, or bookshelves, satisfying the desire for a rustic, natural home ambiance.
Packaging Industry: In packaging, pine plywood is the go-to for building sturdy crates for heavy machinery, large appliances, and beyond. Its high strength ensures protection of valuable, large goods during transit. Versatile in logistics and warehousing, it's often crafted into pallets for heavy load transport.
