Production Process
1. Log Selection: The cornerstone of extraordinary plywood is the selection of premium logs. Our choice of wood types, including poplar, birch, pine, and eucalyptus, are meticulously evaluated for their texture, grain, hardness, and moisture content to exceed production standards. For instance, poplar is favored for its light texture and ease of processing, making it ideal for standard plywood. Birch, with its robust hardness and elegant grain, is the material of choice for high-end plywood.
2. Veneer Preparation: Carefully selected logs are precision-cut into specific lengths and expertly sliced into veneers using a rotary cutter. The process demands precise control of parameters such as rotary speed and tool angle, ensuring each veneer is consistently thick and smooth. For specialized plywood, a planing technique crafts thin wood chips from blocks.
3. Veneer Drying: Freshly rotary-cut veneers have high moisture levels, necessitating effective drying. We employ both natural and artificial methods. Natural drying, though cost-effective, is weather-dependent and lengthy, while artificial methods like steam and hot air drying rapidly achieve optimal moisture levels of 8%-12%, significantly boosting production efficiency.
4. Gluing and Assembly: Post-drying, veneers proceed to the gluing phase, where eco-friendly adhesives are applied with precision. The quality of the adhesive is paramount for bond strength and environmental compliance. Panels are assembled with each layer's fibers perpendicular to the next, ensuring exceptional stability and strength.
5. Hot Pressing Bonding: Once assembled, slabs undergo hot pressing at temperatures between 100ºC - 150ºC and pressures of 3-10MPa. The pressing duration, tailored to sheet thickness and adhesive properties, ranges from several to tens of minutes, curing the adhesive and securely bonding the veneers.
6. Post-Processing: Following hot pressing, plywood enters the post-processing stage. Edge trimming boosts dimensional accuracy by removing irregular edges. Sanding perfects the board's surface, making it ready for decorative improvements such as veneering and painting.
Pine Plywood Detailed Uses
Construction Formwork: Pine plywood is the quintessential choice for construction formwork. Its soft yet elastic nature withstands immense pressure during concrete pouring, preventing deformation and ensuring exceptional concrete molding quality. Notably, it offers cost-effective reuse, making it ideal for high-rise building components like walls and floors.
Furniture Manufacturing: As a prime material for furniture frames, pine plywood provides a robust support structure for items like bed and sofa frames. Its distinctive natural texture and aroma enhance furniture with a unique style, perfect for crafting rustic, nature-inspired tables, chairs, and bookshelves that satisfy the longing for a warm, natural home ambiance.
Packaging Industry: In the packaging realm, pine plywood excels in creating durable packing boxes for heavy machinery, large appliances, and more. Its superior strength safeguards valuable goods during transit. Furthermore, it forms sturdy pallets for transporting heavy loads, making it indispensable in logistics and warehousing.
