Production process

Our focus is on premium wood species like poplar, birch, pine, and eucalyptus. Critical attention is given to texture, grain, hardness, and moisture content to ensure each log meets rigorous production standards. Poplar, known for its lightness and ease of processing, is ideal for standard plywood. Meanwhile, birch, celebrated for its robust texture and exquisite grain, is the choice for crafting luxurious, high-end plywood.
2. Veneer Preparation: Precision in every slice! Logs are meticulously cut to optimal lengths and transformed into veneers through a rotary cutter. To guarantee a consistent thickness and a flawlessly smooth surface, the rotary cutting speed and tool angle are carefully calibrated. For specialized plywood varieties, an additional planing method is used to slice wood blocks into ultra-fine chips, elevating the quality to meet specific requirements.
3. Veneer Drying: Perfect moisture balance! Freshly rotary-cut veneers are high in moisture and require precise drying. We utilize two methods: cost-effective natural drying, which depends on weather conditions and takes longer, and artificial drying, which employs steam or hot air to swiftly bring moisture levels to an optimal 8% to 12%. This ensures enhanced efficiency and impeccable production quality.
4. Gluing and Assembly: Eco-friendly precision! Dried veneers advance to the gluing stage, where they are uniformly coated with environmentally friendly adhesives. The choice of adhesive is crucial for both the bonding strength and the eco-performance of the plywood. Following glue application, panels are expertly assembled with perpendicular fiber orientations between layers, guaranteeing the board's structural stability and enduring performance.
5. Hot Pressing Bonding: Unwavering strength! Assembled slabs undergo hot pressing, where high temperatures (100ºC - 150ºC) and pressures (3-10MPa) are applied. Determined by sheet thickness and adhesive properties, this process lasts several to tens of minutes. The heat and pressure bond each veneer layer securely, resulting in a highly durable and cohesive plywood product.
6. Post-processing: Finishing touches to perfection! Even after hot pressing, the plywood undergoes essential post-processing steps such as edge trimming and sanding. Edge trimming ensures precise dimensions by removing irregularities, while sanding enhances surface smoothness and flatness, preparing the board for additional decorative treatments like veneering and painting, thus achieving a flawless finish.
