Production Process

2. Veneer Preparation: The art of veneer creation commences with precisely cutting the chosen logs into optimal lengths, following which they are expertly sliced into veneers using a state-of-the-art rotary cutter. This process requires exact control over parameters such as rotary cutting speed and tool angle to ensure each veneer possesses a uniform thickness and a pristine, smooth surface. Additionally, for specialized plywood requirements, a planing method may be employed to craft the wood blocks into delicately thin wood chips, showcasing our unwavering commitment to versatility and perfection.
3. Veneer Drying: The freshly rotary-cut veneers, rich in moisture, are then expertly dried using one of two methods: cost-effective natural drying, which is weather-dependent and has longer cycles, or efficient artificial drying. The latter utilizes techniques such as steam and hot air drying to deftly manage veneer moisture content to a precise range of 8% to 12%, significantly enhancing our production efficiency.
4. Gluing and Assembly: Post-drying, veneers are meticulously coated with eco-friendly adhesives. This uniform application is paramount in determining the plywood's bonding strength and its environmental profile. We adhere to a strategic assembly technique that ensures the fiber directions of adjacent layers are perpendicular, fortifying the board's structural stability and enhancing its durability.
5. Hot Pressing Bonding: The assembled slabs undergo a transformative hot pressing bonding process within a hot press, exposed to temperatures between 100ºC - 150ºC and pressures ranging from 3-10MPa. The duration, tailored to sheet thickness and adhesive properties, typically spans several to tens of minutes. This crucial stage cures the adhesive, creating a robust bond that steadfastly unites the veneer layers.
6. Post-Processing: Following hot-pressing, our plywood undergoes meticulous post-processing. This includes precision edge trimming and surface sanding, ensuring dimensional accuracy by eliminating any unevenness. Expert sanding achieves a flawlessly smooth and flat surface, setting the stage for subsequent decorative finishes such as veneering and painting.
